Cooking workshops for young people

Vilafranca del Penedès, July 2025. – Beer Events S.L. has successfully completed the specialized training program of cooking workshops for young people at Espai Jove La Nau in Vilafranca del Penedès, carried out between February and July 2025.

In total, seven independent yet complementary sessions have been held, covering topics as varied as Japanese cuisine, world rice dishes, vegetarian cooking, healthy desserts, creative tapas, summer cuisine and, as a finale, a culinary contest in a Masterchef-style format.

Each workshop combined practical learning and cultural knowledge, offering participants the opportunity to prepare a complete menu while discovering the origins, evolution, and curiosities of each gastronomic proposal. The methodology, focused on teamwork and small groups, fostered a participatory and engaging experience.

One of the most important values was sustainability. Resource management was carried out with freshness and zero-waste criteria, while emphasizing the importance of making the most of ingredients. In addition, the use of lunch boxes to take home the elaborations reinforced the project’s environmental commitment.

The overall assessment is very positive, both from the participants—who showed remarkable improvements in kitchen safety, cutting techniques and dish presentation—and from the organizing team, which highlights the role of the workshops as a space for learning, coexistence, and personal expression. Some young participants even discovered cooking as a possible professional vocation, clear evidence of the real impact of the initiative.

With this initiative, Beer Events S.L. reaffirms its commitment to gastronomic training, sustainability, and youth empowerment, placing cooking at the service of creativity, coexistence, and personal growth.
